Universal Base Unit:
Light weight and ergonomically contoured, the universal base unit has been designed to fit most beds, gurneys, and exam tables. The base unit can be positioned prior to patient transfer or slid underneath the patient as necessary. The base unit should be positioned above the patient’s iliac crest (top of hip bone) for optimal results.
Made from high density polyethylene. Reusable. Supplied non sterile. Do not resterilize or autoclave. Clean with a hospital approved disinfectant.

The web is completely non-invasive so it will not irritate or tear the patient’s skin. Patient’s who weigh up to 550 pounds can be accommodated with this device.
